My kids bought me a Estwing soft faced hammer . Love it .

I got a Lie Nielsen cap iron screwdriver (indulgent to buy, perfect as a gift!), only to realise that it doesn't fit any of the Stanley, Record or Hock cap irons I have.

Also got one of those "wood is good" urethane carvers mallets, which is beautifully finished and noticeably quieter than a wooden mallet. Perfect for my basement workshop.

I got a dolmar 6100 chainsaw and made 8 or 10 plane irons and half a dozen chisels. (not with the dolmar!!).

The mrs. didn't get me the chainsaw, though, and wasn't that happy to see the box.

Hi Bristol bob, that really is a woodworkers tool but requires something I could not provide, that is the skill to use it, my one is 110volt and that causes enough issues!

Nice chainsaw. I have a couple not that nice though.
