I wanted to make a small project over the weekend and so knocked up an Ash box with Mahogany corner supports. Mostly hand joinery with copious use of planes to make infill and finish box off.

Finish is Danish Oil (4 coats) + black Bison wax

Pictures posted if you're interested

Cheers

Tony

They are in the Gallery.

The box looks very nice :D
You will get lots of requests for more if you make them that well

A nicely executed box Tony. How did you make the slots for the splines if I may ask?

I have to come clean....Router.

I made a jig that held the box at 45 degrees on the table and fed it through the router table with a small straight cut bit. I'll post a picture of later today
Infills were cut on table saw and then hand-planed to fit
