Hi all, I would like a new mitre saw for my small workshop, which I don't need something with a huge capacity. The saw would be stationary the majority of the time and be positioned against a wall hence the Metabo with a smaller footprint to the rear. I can't seem to find many reviews regarding the Metabo, does anyone on here own the saw and can give me any feedback with it? also, any other ideas on what saw would be advisable at my budget? I would also like a double bevel as this would give me more flexibility in the shop.

Regards Leigh

I've got one and I like it. It's accurate enough for anything I've needed it for so far, but a furniture maker I am not.

However have a think about how you are going to use it, if it's going on a bench/ mitre station the Sym features won't really work apart from for very small pieces, so you could save yourself a bit of money by going for the non-sym version.
