New board colours

Not a moan as such, but is anyone else really struggling to read the new pale blue and washed out black writing?

I'm obviously slighty colour blind on this but I didnt have a problem with the old colours.

Nope.
Background on mine is pale blue, but over the top of that each post is in a white box and the text looks normal black to me.....

With your browser open, hold Ctrl and press F5 - it will do a hard refresh to get any new changes to the styles. It could be that your browser has cached an old version

I think its more like my browser has cached an old set of eyes. And to be fair, I am looking at it on a 10 year old laptop screen

Yup, it just seems the blues are washed out to me.
the board index line barely stands out from the background.

I know, I'm late to the party but you should have warned me before i went on holiday.

Do you have washed out black writing? If so there may well be a problem with your display settings (or your eyes) (mine are far from perfect but I still get solid black text on a white background). Yes, the board index line is light blue on a pale blue background but the dark blue text on it is clear and legible to me.

Its just me. i know I have a touch of blue green colour blindness. If its not bold its not there.
I can live with it.

No you are not alone. I quite like the new layout but finding the writing very hard to read.

Interestingly just noticed the black writing shown while typing out a post is much easier to read

and I might as well mention another thing on the new board. I seem to be saving drafts a lot more than posting replies. I cant remember the old layout but have the buttons been swapped around? Or did we not have a save button before?

Old people dont learn new tricks easily you know.
