New to the forum and woodturning so please be gentle.

Down to business. Does anywhere sell these keys? I just got my first lathe, which came with the 4 jaw attached, but no key.
The key I would need, needs a square hole in the key itself.

Thanks in advance

Mick

That sounds more like an independant 4-jaw normally used on a metal working lathe.

What size square drive do you need.

Hi Mick , welcome to the forum ,maybe if there is a name on the chuck you could let us know.
CHJ is usually spot on with these kind of things so you are in good hands.

Sounds like the 4 Jaw that comes on some of the Clarke & Nutool lathes, needs a 6mm or 8mm socket on the key but can't recall which.

Axminster super precision chucks also have a square key

Yes but they are male square key, OP want a female socket square key.
