I have an old hand drill that no longer drills. Model "archimedes". The drill is round. Anyone have an idea what the drill looks like originally?

If you mean the drill bit itself they were often just a pointed round bar with a slot machined down the side forming a single cutting edge at the point. But there are others - an arrow head shape with 2 cutting edges, like a pointed chisel.

It concerns the shape of the original drill bit, which is now completely round and sharp as a needle.

Some models have a hollow handle with extra bits inside.
