Need belt for the mini lathe

Hi all newbie here but in need of help i have a mini lathe a craft supplies mvs1000 and the drive belt has failed .
This is approx 4mm wide vbelt and 440-450mm long but cant find a new one any ideas please ive tryed using a oring but too much stretch for it thanks in advance ste

And if that fails, simplybearings might have what you want. Keep the old belt if you can for measurement and comparison.
 
that looks like a round belt to me. They are available in various metric diameters, and you simply cut them to length and fuse the two ends together.

My local supplier (transmission supply) is also a bearing store, and they refer to it as round polyurethane belting.

I use them on m engraving machines/jewellers lathes and other light duty stuff.

In the pix attached the largest is 8mm, the smaller 4 mm

I would google around subject Sewing Machine drive belts might have to be a round belt but should be fine or speak to Motionco.co.uk - good luck
 
If you haven't already and you are still stuck, it might be worth asking lathes.co.uk.

Is that the belt or a power cord in the picture, it looks round?
Is this a different company? good luck
