Nail Gun Problem :(

Hey All!!

I was happily nailing a load of cladding in today and a blooming nail got stuck. So i successfully removed the jammed nail and i connected it back up to compressor, with all the screw's tightened etc.

And then, i pulled the trigger and it went ppsssssshhhhhhh

The air was coming out from somwhere near the trigger area. But my manual doesn't say anything about that!

So does anyone know how to fix it?? Or is it a "Gonna"??

Thomas, I have had jams on mine many times and unscrewing the nose top and back always did the job. Only one thing comes to mind, make sure the hammer is pushed back before you tighten the nose top back on. May be you block it and the air cannot reach it and is forced out before end?
This is a wild guess :?

hi again,
unfortunately that didn't work!
So i decided to return it but guess what......yup......no damn reciept!
I then rang customer services and they said that if i could remember when i bought it (which i had no idea about ) then they would swap it for me!

Luckily it was a nice person at the checkout and she didn't even care about it!!

Anywho, that was my day :wink: :wink:
