So here are a few pics of my messy shop. These were taken a while back and it's actually much worse than that now with shavings from bowls all over the place. These photos were taken about a week after I got the machines so they still aren't really in the locations I would like. When I get it all tidied up and sorted I'll be moving a few things around. You can see that I have to share the shop for storing non-woodworking items. :(

Some nice kit there. I konw how you feel having to share space. I am about 3/4 of the way through redoing my garage into a workshop, just finished painting the floor and walls, trying to put things into their final position. Move all the other non-working stuff into the shed. Sorting out the sockets and lights next week ready for the electrician to wire up and Part P test next Saturday. Then I can then put all the filters/extractors in. Then I might be able to get on with my box!!!! Then I have to insulate the roof space, which is non loadbearing.

Very nice :)

I see you are fond of the Jet brand ;)

May I ask what chuck you are using on the lathe? The reason I ask is that I have recently purchased the smaller brother to your lathe and I need a chuck however I am not sure what one to get haha!

I have an Axminster K10, Evolution and a Oneway Stronghold chuck. The Oneway I was trying to list here for sale when I went back a page and lost it. I have a bunch of Axminster jaws but only the one standard gripper set for the Oneway which isn't being used much now.

Looks good.
But I reckon you would transform the place if the walls were painted white.
Would brighten it up no end.

Yeah, I had been considering that but we may be moving some time soon and I didn't want to put a lot of work into the shed.

What has happened to your riving knife and crown guard??

Don't worry it wasn't been used at that time. I have yet to build a workbench and when the photo was taken I was restoring an old rocking chair on it. It was just sanding and stripping, tried to find a photo of it on the saw but no luck.
