Nice one DW, not played a Tyros myself, I've got a Yamaha EL70 and there's also a Yamaha DGX620 Electric piano as well in the house which I play occasionally.

Regards

Steve :)

Very nice DW----But I am at a loss why its called water. Maybe its the name of the tune?
As you can tell, I am not musically inclined (to say the least). :D :D

The title of the tune is "The water is wide" an American folk tune.

Steve Jones, I also came into Yamaha via around three big beasts but space became a problem (and price) and converted to keyboards.

John,

I've had various over the years the previous one to the EL70 was an HS6, I always tend to go for this type as they can be collapsed down into separate pieces, which came in useful when I used to work with a singer a good few years ago.

Steve

Sounds like you've got a bit of "Carrickfergus" in there.

I found myself listening for:

"But the water is wide and I cannot swim over,
Neither have I the wings to fly,
Wish I could meet with a handsome boatman,
To ferry me over, my love and I.
