Having a full size workbench is a luxury in a small workshop, I generally cut up board material outside first, using some portable plastic trestles. They work ok but I need something more substantial. I started to consider a design in my head that would not take up much room fold down and be on wheels that I could move in and out of the workshop as needed. From my experience I am generally not the only person who has had this issue so I began my search.

I don't need to buy any plans I can generally workout stuff but this is what I was thinking, although I would use piano hinge for the top, as once opened it's supported on the legs.
