It's patina silly!!!!
Me thinks they were made of beech another 100 years left in them yet (college benches)
Just had another look and if they are college benches they would have 2 vices possibly 12" opening , I could make one good bench 8'x 3' and have a goodly amount of timber left over plus a spare vice . Pitty i have no forklift
How do you know they are called Pat and Tina i dont name my bench lol
It's double barrelled. Pat-tina. PT for short.
