and a bunch of other stuff, calipers, jacobs chucks (2 of) and smaller tools, wood blanks, logs (properly dried etc)

All added up it was about £1000

Facebook marketplace - was asking £375, I gave him £400 seemed rude not to.

ALL of it UNUSED and bought just before lockdown, selling due to illness.

Not a big financial gain, but i got this beauty of a framing chisel.....
It was in an auction near ne with a few cold chisels and punches. It was pretty rusty, so ive cleaned it up and reground the edge etc. Chisel and punches cost £14
I also bid on a bag of 'stuff' . I saw the telltale colour of the old stanley box and hoped it would have something inside it ( which it did! ) i scored a virtually mint, boxed no 4 for 6 quid!

Nice old soldering iron for 20p I hope to use in my copper sculptures hopefully I get a lot less heat transfer than when using a torch with previous joints springing open again

I managed to pick up a couple of bits at an auction last Sunday.

Pair of Record Irwin straight tin snips, need a bit of a soak in rolla cola to clean the mild rust off and then a bit of a polish... £0.50 :)

Took a punt of a box that just had "Ultrasonic cleaner" Box was a bit tatty and couldn't be opened to inspect. Got it for £11 :) Got it home and opened the box. It's brand new, never been used 2.5L capacity, optional baskets and it's also heated with several timers. Cheapest I could find it in the UK is £200 or $185 from Ali-express.

Very happy with my bits :) Enjoy your finds :)

Jon.
