Multi function tools

As I have very little room in my workshop, I am tempted by the idea of multi-function tools like this http://www.poolewood.co.uk/acatalog/SIP ... chine.html

does anyone have any experience with them?

I haven't used this but it looks underpowered, it only has a 1 HP motor which would I think struggle to cut anything over 50mm.

Looks too small and weak to be practical.

I have a table saw so am only looking at it as a planer and moulder.

For about that sort of money you should be able to pick up some old British cast steel secondhand for the jobs you are doing.

In my experience...most multi-function machinery is and always has been far short in capability than the individual machines.

Says Spindle molder but from what I can see it's a 1/4-1/2" Router limited to 9,000 RPM? Unless I've missed something.
