I have just noticed some Laburnam that I have been keeping in a rather damp and leaky shed has a white mould growing on it.
Timber has been thrown in there as felled, not resawn or stacked at all.
Obviously dry and airy conditions would stop the mould but that's not practical at the moment.
Is it something I should be worried about?

Yes, check a piece by peeling back some bark, you may find that the sapwood has started to decompose and will rapidly if not already turn to a dusty woolly composition with no strength that you can strip by hand. (the heart wood will be fine) The sapwood may well be infested with one of several worms or beetle larva as well.

It is essential to Dry store Laburnum once harvested.
