These people (http://www.inverter.co.uk/ Power Drive Services) are regularly advertising motor speed controllers on Ebay, that seem to go for under £100. Has anyone bought one of these, and if so, are there any tips to pass on about using them?
I've got a 3-phase 1hp motor which should work with one of these inverter controllers, but I don't want to invest too blindly!
Thanks for that, Roger. Ther's a lot of useful information on that link, but what I was hoping was that someone would have experience of the particular stuff that is regularly being offered on E-bay.
I did contact the company directly, but did not find them specially helpful.
