Looking at the PK restoration thread and, as was mentioned, with over 15.5k views made me wonder what the most viewed thread is?

Does anyone know.

Most viewed in the last three years?
Most viewed ever?

I just hope it wasn't a sharpening debate! :twisted:

Not sure on here, but the Shed of Doom thread on a motorbike forum has now well in excess of three and a half million views in nine months, and its not even a sticky, with normal threads generally between 100 to 1000.

It's quite easy to find out. Each forum index page has a choice of sort orders, defaulting to Date order. In general woodworking the all time winner (ignoring stickies) was the quest for proper holdfasts, leading to a lot of happy customers for Richard T https://www.ukworkshop.co.uk/forums/holdfast-group-buy-may-have-found-a-uk-blacksmith-t42256.html with 22,393 views.

Hand tool top posts are dominated not by sharpening but by a long series of Veritas tool reviews from Alf with 20 or 30,000 views.

General Chat has a jokes thread with a score of 38,642, but as far as I can see, our top thread has been Dibs-h's story of a workshop build that was far more inspirational than most Grand Designs programmes, with a whopping 70,438 views
