I have been waiting to do this hollow form for some months, when it was first cut (it's Sycamore again, but the top is Ash) it looked very much like it would make a nice object. Larger pictures can be seen by visiting the blog (link below) and clicking the images there.

I have included some images of it pre-colour as that was requested in the last thread, for those interested in trying colouring I recommend you watch the video by Andy Coates I linked in the Deep Blue Bowl thread.

Well it's another one that gets my vote, basic winning feature for me is the impression of iridescence you have achieved. Colouring in the main being a 'no going back' process it would seem you have a knack for envisioning the build effect of the sequence of application.
 
Your hollow form looks great! The overall shape, colouring, inclusion of voids and finish all work together to produce a fantastic result.

Ill go with chas Not Being a A$$$ licker :lol: :lol: but he has Summed It Up With his comments I have the spirit stain kit here but I tried it once found you need to get the finish spot on otherwise it looks awful I commend you I seen the demo that mark maby done in Yandles it convinced me to purchase but I think I got a long way to go yet its a pleasure to look at your work well done =D> =D> =D>
