Sorry for another newbie question but what am I actually getting if I buy mixed/unsorted red wood? Is this a softwood? What sort of applications is it suitable for?

thanks

Alan

Hi Alan

The phrase to use is, "best unsorted joinery quality redwood" when you want a decent softwood.

Cheers
Neil

PS Alf taught me everything I know, well almost.

Neil, in that case you're in terrible, terrible trouble...

Cheers, Alf

P.S. Got the "best unsorted" magic words from either SDA or Frank IIRC, way back.
