yesterday when I went down to tend to the geese there was a young deer inspecting the wire cages I had put over the brassicas in the veg garden. sadly no photo. When I got back I went out into the front garden armed with my camera and took some photos of some baby geese. Not wantingthe camera to suffer from excess heat i returne dit inside and lay on a sun lounger next to the baby geese. dozed off to be woken by my wife because a hare was sat beside me looking carefully at the baby geese. no camera. :(

I was young. She was young. I was in love with her but didn't know how to do anything about it.
On the day she got married, she stood there in her white wedding dress, she held my hand and she said, "Steve, you never asked".
Sad but true.
No photos of that, either.

I was on a deserted beach in NZ, north of Auckland. We'd been to the hot springs, and I'd got dressed before the others. It was an overcast day, and there was only one break in the cloud - above a large offshore rock was a brilliant beam of sunshine. As I stood alone watching the clouds drifting across the bay the beam of sunshine moved, illuminating a boat. It followed it across the bay until both disappeared.
The "boat" was "Mir" - fastest tall ship in the world, under full sail. It was an age before I could get Khatchaturian's Spartacus out of my head. My camera was in the car.

Chinese supermarket, green hatch back with the back open full of loose watermelons, no camera.
