I was there today - bought Japanese saw and a long ruler/level that's not on the website - as I went in a bloke was coming out with 2 barrows piled high with tools, looked like the saw and drill press (more than one of each) - presumably an ebay re-seller?
Jap saw seems OK - I have a spangly Axminster one too and can't tell the difference with the cuts

I notice the little 6" disk sander has now doubled in price from when I got mine and is now just under £30. A bit too much I would say worth max of ~£25

I went in today for the retractable air line. Couldn't find it, so asked a helpful shelf stacker, who told me, "They didn't come in, they might come in later today, they might come in tomorrow or the might never come in.

Anyone have any experience with there sliding miter saw ?
thanks

I've had the previous version since 2018, it was a Scheppach. No problems with heavy DIY use. Needs a lot of spcae behind for the slide rails.

Largely put up now waiting for Big Jobs as I got the smaller cordless mitre saw recently. That one does fine for quickly cutting pieces to length for woodworking projects, but would be useless for construction or heavy use.

The local Lidl addict called in to show me his haul/pile of tat this morning.

He was telling me about his trip, the queueing in the rain before 8am, the mass sprint to the middle isle when the doors opened, people filling trolleys full of mitre saws, people arguing because something they wanted had gone and somebody else had taken six of them etc.

I must be missing something because I just don't get it, especially in the current situation.

Big square looks good value - if any left. I bought the plier set out in Fuerteventura last year. Small but handy little clamping
