Has anyone tried the Hitachi CR10DL/L4 10.8V ?
This particular one is currently unavailable, otherwise I would have got it as I already have the Hitach screwdriver and so, wouldn't require a battery.
Also, is there any other manufacturer who makes this size of reciprocating saw? I've searched all over, but can't seem to find anything apart from the standard size.
Thanks so much for your invaluable input

I've got one that sort of size, it's alright for small tasks like branch pruning, cut outs in panels or small metal parts. Not got the grunt for big tasks though and it eats batteries.

Hitachi was rebranded Hikoki the other year which is probably why the one you link to is unavailable, this is the new model

what I don’t know is if your old battery will fit the new machine

Thanks so much Doug. I hadn't heard that, so I'll hunt it down later tonight.
Cheers.
