I have around 700 bits of new merbau timber size are 10x50x250 all par is this any good for wood turners thanks

could this not be glued up for bigger projects

You could, yes. But to get a 250mm square X 50mm thick bowl blank, you would need to laminate 25 pieces together.

It would be interesting to use a few pieces for box making. 10mm could work well there.
