MBO Plywood Bench

I have checked and can't find a reference to the finishing of MBO plywood. 'The King' at the NYW uses MBO for workshop stands and benches, and I am going to build my bench/assembly table/router table out of the product. My question is, how would this be finished?

If i can recall it correctly :roll: , either he doesn't cover it with a finish at all, or if he finishes it, he using a plain oil-paint
