There was an interesting programme on BBC1 last night about animal intelligence. Part two is on tonight at 8:00pm. Should be on I-Player if you miss it.

Indeed, it just proves what I have always said - Dogs are dumb.

Cats are my choice of companion because they are quite capable of telling me to sod off and still have me love them - rather like the wife actually. The chimp obviously thinks that this sort of stuff is beneath him/her.

What creature of any intelligence would want to do what the average human wanted them to do?
