Hi all,
I bought a Makita Sliding Compound Mitre saw off ebay that needs a few parts.

Problem is I have no idea how to identify which model it is. The label on the motor casing doesn't show model no.

The listing described it as a 210mm saw.

Any help appreciated

Hi,

Google for images of makita sliding compound miter saws and identify it that way, the images are usually titled as the model number.

Here are a few pics of the saw, the blade is definitely 210mm

Hi, Colesmeister

Sorry to say but it looks like a clone, there was and possibly still is some routers branded Makita on Ebay that aren't.
That label doesn't look right there should be loads more information on it.

Hi, Colesmeister

If its a good fake you might be able to use Makita parts. I take its a problem with the switch?

I think the switch parts are standard across the range.

Switch, brushes, brush cup holders and the bolt that secures the blade is rather rounded.
