Had this router years and mostly use it for rebating but I wanted to make it a table as I have lots of grooves to cut. They are 1" wide by 1/2" deep in 1 1/4 x 1 3/4 red pine.

Can't work out how to make it run hands free. I read online manual but no joy. Seems like if you hold the lever on the trigger should stay on but mine doesn't.

cable tie on the trigger, but make sure you have an nvr switch on your table.

I use insulation tape. Just take it off after use otherwise it could get all gummy.

OK cheers. Didn't think it could be that simple :) . I will see about getting a mounting plate made up,

Do you recon a good solid table with my router will do the job I mentioned?

I used to use a old MFC kitchen shelf with my 3621c screwed on, and a length of 2x2 for a fence. it worked fine.

Pete

the router will do the job fine, on as simple or complex table as you wish to make. I would do it in several passes though rather than trying to do it in one.
