Sadly, the Bosch crosscut doesn't have an indent at 30 degrees :(

So used the Incra on my D/W contractor saw

This old dust-bin is a perfect fit when perched on those paving slabs

31 inches high, which is quite tall for a small garden

Folks comment that it looks like a Pulpit

Here is a bi-product, I cut the 4 by 2s the wrong way
So made this

LOL glad I'm not the only one then :)

You might want to add some finish to the underside of the top, as rain will still run under there (no drip edge) and rot it out - you should also consider adding some rubber "door stop" feet to it to keep it off the ground.

Otherwise, perfect use of a dustbin  One of my planters is built around an old central heating expansion tank.

Cheers Rafezetter I will try to fix a drip to top, then look to keep base off ground

John, what is the finish on your pulpit please? I need summat equally bright for acres of verandah woodwork.

Sammy Q, I will check what type of Sikkens later

Sammy
Top coat -- Sikkens Cetol Filter 7 plus

Base -- Cetol HLS Plus

Both are shade mahogany; originally bought to treat Sapele

My choice was based on these excellent threads

Cheers. Mine are presently dull ancient oak stain, more like muddy chocolate; new stuff sometime soon and I want to have a brighter finish.
