I clipped a buried snapped screw in a piece of timber with a nearly new blade and now it wont cut straight when using the fence.
I don't want to ditch it if I can avoid it. I'm presuming it shouldn't have overly blunted it being M42 and rather has affected the set on one side ?
Any ideas how to improve it before I chuck it ?

You can take your setting pliers to it like any other blade. However, although you'll likely improve it, its performance will be compromised. You'll probably struggle to use it with a fence thereafter.
