LV jointer

Any idea if the LV LA jointer will be the size of number 7 or 8 stanley? I have to build a cabinet for my planes (happily grumbling) and I need to size accordingly. I'm guessing it'll be between 22 and 24 inches long?

I don't believe Rob'll shoot me for saying 22", last I heard. But that was 6 months ago and you know how fluid the design process seems to be at LV, so maybe allow a bit extra just in case... :wink:

That's about what I was guessing. Now I get to decide whether my bench planes will be lying on their sides or sitting upright. And I need to leave room for expansion . . . .
