The Axminster AW127R 1/2' router £99.93 looks the same as Charnwood P220 £59.99 and shares the same spec. Are they any good and why the price difference.

I bought the same one from Makro a while ago under their "Agajama" badge, or whatever. It's a pretty useful router and mine is currently being used in my router table. It has a useful built-in micro adjuster so it is great under the table as you can crank it up and down using the adjustor.
Buy cheap or buy the best!
regards
Philly :D

i don't know how good/bad this 1/2"machine is but its very reasonably priced with postage paid

edit

i think it is supplied with some 1/2" shank router bits as well

TX,

Urm... Aren't you a tiny bit early, old landlubber? Or are you going to keep this up for the whole week? In which case I can give you the names of a couple of reliable, and discreet, dried frog pill suppliers...

Cheers, Alf
