freehand with a router is really difficult -the cutter always wants to push sideways.

note the usual lack of safety -no guard on saw!
 
Neat! I particularly liked the jeweling (Never heard it called Engine Turning :|) he did on the letters with that weird little bolt-in-a-rag-thingymadoodad. Amazed he didn't snap that teenie tiny Dremel router bit when it snatched and the number three too.

No guard on the mitre saw even gives me the heebie-jeebies, the number of times I bump into the guard on my saw with an offcut or my hand I couldn't trust myself to have it removed.

I couldn't even write that neat on paper let alone do it on wood :shock:

Finished result did look good though.
 
Very impressive, especially the way he drew those numbers freehand.
If I had only seen the finished result, I would have taken it for hand carved.
 
I like that, he most definitely does make it look easy, there is an art to this kind of thing, proportions need to be spot on.
