As the titles says does anyone know a commercial supplier for B/BB (or S/BB) Baltic Birch in 3050mm+ lengths?

Thickness needed would be 12mm, 18mm and even 24mm if thats possible.

Ive looked at many timber suppliers and I've found BB/BB but no B/BB in that length.

Cheers

Some yards might be able to order it in for you — have you spoken to them or just looked online?

My supplier stocks B/BB so you can definitely get it not that he’d be any use to you, as @jvc26 suggests best bet is to ask if a local supplier can get it in for you.

cutlist.co.uk near High Wycombe stocks 3100 x 1220 in 18 mm B/BB Birch faced ply - they may offer other boards in that size, worth asking them

Azk404, you have your location as London. I lived in Essex up to 2017 and used Timbnet, Panel Supplies and Silvermans for sheet material. I don't know how far out they travel.

Ive mainly just looked as whats online so I will try emailing the suggestions today to see what they have.

When I found specialised panels I thought that was it but they seem to only supply bulk packs of plywood so that wouldn't work as I only need a couple of sheets of each, thanks though.

Great thank you all, going to drop some emails now.

Someone has to ask B/BB. S/BB?? another school day!

Feel free to school me man, always up for expert advice

You could try Brooks Bros / Brookstimber. Their website has info on the sheet materials (under Products) they can source or make.

Its the grade of the plywood for the faces

B - high grade only minor natural features are allowed
S - similar to B grade, but allows more natural defects
BB - utility grade

you can also get lower grade - CP, C and WG

so B/BB - one face B grade the other BB grade

Thanks Ade, I've dropped them a line as well.

Thanks @fiveforty :) I was aware of the differences just wasn't sure what Robbo mean tbh

Its for wardrobe and desk use but it looks like BB/BB in that length might have to work if no ones got any. I'm hopping I could get away with it not looks so bad but lets see

thanks. never seen this grading on any ply I've bought - never looked either. So you would tend to use the better stuff for furniture if not painting? The BB for shelves and stuff in garage/shop?
