Angie, what would be nice and help quell speculation from long term members here would be to publish an explanation of what has happened to UKW over the last few days other than migrating to new platform software.

Sorry, I didn't mean I have a thread I need to go back and edit at the moment, just to mention a reason I've in the past needed to do it. It is also sometimes nice to go back and hide all my typos

The logical answer would be to allow infinite additions to a post, but not subtractions. Once it's there and been replied to the original post stays.

An edit indicator to show that a post had been edited like it was before would be good, that way you can tell if a post has been edited an hour after posting to remove an idiotic statement to plead ignorance or what have you.
