Popped into LIDL this morning for some cheap food, and they had the £8.99 digital callipers again...

It was a 'Monday' offer but there were still quite a few left. Good timing as the last set has lasted well over 3 yrs, on the original battery, but I put the hammer down on the face and smashed it last week!

I also bought the drill sharpener.... just didn't want to admit it in case I got an onslaught along the lines of... "you must be rubbish if you can't sharpen without a dedicated machine" (that's the clean version)

Well as a matter of fact my drill sharpening without a dedicated machine is rubbish :lol: , and this one also came with a set of drills!!

Think I might do the same and cave in with the Drill Sharpener as well as the calipers. Nothing ventured nothing gained.
