Belt on my metal lathe broke today. I've done a bit of searching but can't find a UK supply with stock.

Anyone know of a UK source for V-BELT M5 X 710 please?

Mod- edit : Moved on topic 'cause it ain't off topic.

As they don't do anything even near in their listings I've sent them an email with the dimensions I need.
Maybe they'll come up with something.

Many thanks for your help.

Roger,

I don't recognise M5 as a standard belt section? What is the width at the top of the Vee on the pulley?

10mm =Z section, 12-13mm A section are the most common.
A while back M section belts were popular and these are very similar to the modern Z section
But such a belt would have been designated M followed by the length in inches ie M28
Sometimes inch sized belts were marked by length expressed in tenth inches eg M280 which was not a 23 foot belt!
