This is the latest addition to the workshop. Have always wanted an old English pillar drill. All the good ones went for too much on eBay. However found this by chance, had never heard of this make before. But just what I wanted and for a decent price £120.
It's in fairly good nick. No holes in table. Don't think motor is original. Love the curved top cover.
Has at least 3" of travel on the quill, and hardly any runout with the quill fully extended.

It's a Kelly 8 speed. It's actually 4 speed with back gears, which give it an 8 to 1 reduction. About 50Rpm slowest speed.
Made short work using a 2 1/2" forster bit.

Perhaps I might give it a coat of paint and it should see me an daughter out. Now need lots of holes drilled in things, the bigger the better.
