Nice haul! I've seen parts for the 43 come up on ebay from time to time, just got to keep an eye out.

Good to see a car boot update again, I enjoy Sunday afternoon looking at everyone's bargains and putting the odd one up myself. Bit early in the season, up here I think, rained off today and nothing worth mentioning from last week.

What is to be the protocol this year regarding posting boot sale finds, each start a new thread, or add our own finds to an existing thread from that week?

Maybe we could have a dedicated

boot sale finds section on the forum ?????????????

Mods ?????????????????

would get more use than some other sections

The 043 is missing more parts than its got really - think I'd be tempted to break that one for spares, rather than try to complete it via Ebay. Got to be a few folks who'd be looking for the odd screw/thumb screw, given that they're a non-standard thread.

Alternatively, Bugbear has documented the shape and size of the blade clamp, and will be along with the link soon I expect. And depth gauges are really easy - a little bit of steel riveted onto a rod - the sort of beginner's exercise that used to be done in school. Then just add a few irons - almost any plough iron will fit.

And Ray Ilse sells full sets of replacement 043 cutters, although as Andy says, almost any cutters will fit.

Cheers, Vann.

Hi, Blister

If you fancy geting rid of the 43, I would take it off your hands.
I wouldn't mind having a go at making a blade clamp for one.
