Lovely clean lines - particularly the fingerboard end and the sound hole. How does it sound compared to a normal sized uke? Could you give some more info regarding construction? My next stringed project is a pair of maple ukes, and any pointers would be good (especially regarding the nut and bridge)...
Cheers,
Adam

Thanks for the comments. The saddle and nut are from some Ebay Corian. I was using some Koa offcuts so did not have much wood to play with on the body. Bookmatched front, back and headplate. A shaped block gave the V shape and neck block. I hot bent the curved bottom curve, attached with shaped braces. Braced top and boack, re-enforced bridge plate. Jig routed soundhole. Bolt on neck. Ebay friction machines and strings.StewMac fretwire. Fingerboard slotted with my freeting jig. StewMac fret press caul in pillar drill. It took longer to polish than to build. I think it is quiet, my wife thinks otherwise. Very bright and very trebbly.

Beauty! Worth browns?
As above, a sound bite would be good to hear.
I really must get around to doing a travel uke, it's been on the list for quite a while. Just finishing off a koa sopranino and have just bent the sides for a koa concert, so I reckon a travel will be in the queue after that.
