Knock Down Fixings and Jigs. Recommendations please.

Investigating knock down fixings for some cabinet work I need to do with 18mm veneered mdf and would welcome any advice as to what people are using and which systems are easy to get started with, without expensive tooling and jigs.

So far I have seen the minifix system, but the jig for the that setup is > £100
