Hi. Does anyone have one of the above? I took delivery of mine today. I can start the saw, planer, thicknesser but every time I try to start the spindle it trips the fuse in the plug. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a lock on it or something?
Any advice would be appreciated.
I have the manuals but it’s not clear unfortunately. On another note if anyone wants screen shots of the manual let me know.

Have you turned the cutter block free hand

Yes. And it moves as I’m guessing it should. It’s not free as a bird but feels like it should feel to me

You should feel some resistance as the spindle is belt driven, it has a single run cap so if the other functions work it’s not a problem with that.
I would take the big yellow dust collector off and unbolt the switch box and have a look in side, you need to unscrew the selector knob grub screw to get it out.
