Hello peoples
New to the forum, been looking through some the posts over the last few days and the amount of combined knowledge you all seem to have is staggering!! I'm just starting out sort of, I've made thing from wood and built cabins, workshops etc but I've never made a something from a single piece of wood if that makes sense. I've had a hankering for a lathe for a few years and I've just been offered a Kity which I believe is a 664, are these a good place to start? Are they a good machine is what I'm asking I suppose. I intend to get some lessons to learn to how to use it safely etc.
Any advice and help is very much appreciated.
