Kity 619/1619 saw blades

Hi

Can anyone point me in the right direction!
I know I can get a 250mm blade but I'd like the 270mm if possible.

Did the mitre gauge arrive ok? also if you fit the 270mm blade I don't think the blade will lower completely into the table if I remember clearly just in case you use the saw as a part time bench as I do!... :lol:

Yep that's right. With 270mm, you have a minimum cut height of 12mm.
I use my TS as an assembly bench too, so having a 270mm blade is a pain in the proverbial.
You get a max cut height of about 90mm with the 250mm blade, and I almost never cut timber bigger than this on the TS anyway.

Think I'll take your advice and stick with the 10" blade.
Seaco, Got the mitre fence last Saturday (or maybe the one before!!!!!)

To say I`m pleased with the saw would be an understatement!
Don't ever let me have a go of a Unisaw, if it is really that much better!

Just had a look to see what date I sent you a PM.
