We're doing a bit of low budget remodelling of our kitchen to include a proper size fridge/freezer, as the current fridge is tiny, and I have to get down on my hands and knees to rummage around for beer or vegetables.
I hate that.
The current fridge is an integrated thing, and the door matches the other kitchen units, being effectively a mock face frame, cupboard door and drawer front(the kitchen units were all bespoke, and we quite like them).
The plan is to throw the small hands-and-knees-accessible fridge away, but re-use the wooden door, and I want to have the front panel(the face frame, cupboard door and drawer front combo) attached to full extension slides with around 350mm height of storage attached, and then have another upper-deck shelf/wire tray with another 350mm height of storage that can be pulled out independently.
The aperture currently occupied by the fridge is around 600mm wide, and 550mm deep.

Does this sound feasible?
Are there things I should watch out for? Hints or tips?

While I am happy to make this myself, I am also aware that specialist hardware may be available for this very purpose, if so, could anyone help with terminology/search words?

most pullouts will be designed for a 600 cabinet. 564 internal so you will need to pack the sides out to reduce from 600 to 564.
One way of doing it is to make a tall drawer and fit the door to the drawer and then have an internal drawer above.
Or you can get pullout storage solutions but you need one with a way of fitting it to the door.

Can you not make the drawer out of 18mm plywood screwed together.

600- the width of a set of drawer slides?

Cheers James

Yes. I'm happy to make it, but wondered if there were things to avoid, or easier solutions.
I have a tendency to overthink or underthink. Just trying to exploit the knowledge of other forum members...

Thanks, Bob.
