Morning all. I've been requested to make a banquette for our kitchen. Does anyone have any advice on dimensions, heights, etc? It's relatively small corner seat, and discussions on storage are still ongoing!
There are no access issues so can either by built in situ, or in my shed or a combination of both.
Thanks in advance,
Oli

I have made one of these before, from what I remember we just took the height from the clients favourite chair. So made the frame 100mm lower to allow for the foam cushion.
I made a framework up to support everything, made seat base and back from plywood then made up cushion bases and backs which were sent to the upholsterer to put the foam and cloth on to.
This particular situation required parts that could be removed to access pipework behind the seating so I attached all the cushion parts with buttonfix so they can be removed.
