Kinetic Sculpture

Just came across this rather striking website. David C Roy may be known to the forum already, but it's the first time I've come across anything quite like this. The image that greets you when you go to the website is actually a bit boring compared with the others.

That's something you don't see every day. Sometimes I think these guys are genius's, but sometimes I think they could do with spending a bit more time with other people!

Stunning. These people have their brains wired in a different way to the rest of us. I couldn't begin how to visualise something like that just from thin air.

I wonder if there are plans or templates for this kind of thing out there?

Why?

Don't get me wrong, I think their work is just astonishing, particularly the enormous "creatures" walking along the beach, but they must be just slightly obsessive. As wizer said, their brains are not the same as most people's.
