As posted earlier, my latest offering was made from kasanda. At least thats what it had on the yandles label from 1993! but i cannot find any references to Kasanda anywhere.
does anyone know if this wood has an alternative name or its continent of origin?
I'm just curious as i have one more of the same blanks for a future project.

Nev,

Its an African hardwood, Swartzia Madagasearensis, to give it its latin name. Its other names are as unhelpful! Mulundu, Kampanga or its more often used English name - snake bean tree.

Kassandra with an R sometimes? Or PauRosa was a name I've seen it under at Boddys! Handles also have PauRosa in at the moment
