Like so many shows, last years was virtually all spinny stuff. I know turning is popular but it seems very easy to put on 100% turning demos at the expense of other forms of woodwork. Apart from buying a few bits from surplus tools dealer who was there, HSS metal cutting twist drills and some pneumatic fittings, I got very little out of the show itself. It was good to meet a few friends there but that was about it.
I'll not be going this year.
