Steve et al,
I have found trade directory listings for John G. Rollins & Co., Ltd., in London, from 1882 to 1915. The address is listed as Old Swan Wharf, Upper Thames Street, EC from 1881 to 1899, then after a gap, it is listed as Old Swan Wharf, London Bridge, EC from 1910 to 1915.
Early on the firm is listed as Agricultural Implement Makers, importers of American clocks, General Factors (American), grindstone makers, wholesale ironmongers, American Merchants, as well as importers of (American) mineral sperm, kerosine & petroleum oils. Then, from 1891 onwards, they are simply listed as American Merchants. This may indicate your plane was actually made in the U.S., though that would be contra-indicated if your plane is actually marked as being made in England.
Hope this has been of some help.
