What to use?
I have read several jigsaw threads but can't find the one I want again.
I think it was Powertools preferring a satin finish not gloss. I could be confused in this!
A quick check
Birch faced ply
Sand surface
Remove dust with tack cloth
Apply glue
Position picture
Weigh down for an hour
Spray surface coating (this is the stuff I need advice on)
Saw away
Place on a tray and sand the back.

I have just ordered a gross of FD Superior puzzle blades from Mikes workshop.

Now what have I missed?

I was going to use Hobbycraft spray on adhesive. Or should I use spray mount?
Thanks
Rich

Some time ago I made quite a few puzzles but not the type you are making. I have 2 copies of Patrick and Patricha Spielmans book, scroll saw puzzle patterns. Apparently it is the jig saw makers Bible. I no longer need these books so if you are interested in one send me a PM.

Amazing service from PPD and Royal Mail.
Ordered 2 cans 10.30am Monday.
Arrived 10.30am following day.
No extra charge.
I've bought things from Amazon paid extra and still waited 3 days.
Just thought I would say, as you were.

No problem Richard. I hope it has all the information you need not only for now but for the future as well. It certainly covers ever aspect of jig saw making. Happy scrolling.
